On July 2-4, 2004, the City of Niagara Falls carried out a re-enactment of the Battles of Lundy's Lane and Chippawa, in order to commemorate 100 years of the City of Niagara Falls. This event was the major Centennial project for the City's Museums and succeeded in bringing to life two of the most significant events from the history of Niagara Falls and the War of 1812.
