| Take a Virtual Tour of the City of Niagara Falls Museums The Lundy's Lane Historical Museum Located in the Former Stamford Township Hall the Lundy's Lane Historical Museum interprets the history of the City of Niagara Falls with particular emphasis on the War of 1812 and early prints of Niagara Falls. The Museum also boasts the largest publicly owned collection of Niagara Falls Souvenir Ware in Ontario. 85 Years of Women's Work - The IODE in Niagara Falls Community Exhibit Programme The Lundy's Lane Historical Museum has reserved gallery space on the main level of the Museum for community groups to create a display relating to their organization. Some of the recent exhibits include the following: United Empire Loyalists Morse Family and Morgan Funeral Homes Niagara Falls Nature Club Niagara Scouting Museum  Niagara Black History Association A significant part of the history of the community of Niagara Falls includes the African Canadian experience. Located two blocks from the Lundy's Lane Historical Museum is the BME Church and Nathaniel Dett Chapel and Norval Johnson Heritage Library. This designated historic site offers a research library as well as a church. The Niagara Peninsula Needle Arts Guild The Willoughby Historical Museum The Battle Ground Hotel Museum The Battle Ground Hotel is a unique historic site as it existed as a result of the growth in tourism to the battle fields of the War of 1812. Located on the site of the fiercest fighting of the Battle of Lundy's Lane, the Hotel became a popular spot for visitors to take a rest and refreshments after strolling the Battle Field and Drummond Hill Cemetery. Located directly adjacent to the Battle Ground Hotel were two of the five viewing towers located at the top pf Lundy's Lane - the highest point in the City of Niagara Falls. Today visitors can enjoy a guided tour of this restored building as they step back to 1850 - the heyday of tourism to 1812 battle fields.
